About Dr. Patterson:

A long-time area resident, Kay received BA, MA and PhD degrees from Bryn Mawr College. She taught History and Writing for 10 years at Bryn Mawr and Haverford Colleges. She taught English in Poland (as  a member of the Central European Teaching Program) for one year. From 2000-2005, she was the Director of Adult Basic Education and ESL Programs for Volunteers of America, Pennsylvania.
