am an Elder of the Keetowa
People (Cherokee). My mother's family escaped removal during the "Trial of
Tears" by fleeing along the spine of the Smokey Mountains and into the Clintch
Mountains of Virginia, carrying within their hearts the ancient ways of our
people. To that and this I still cling today.
My father's family
escaped from the Black Forest Region of southwestern Germany during the
Witch-Burning Era and in the mid 1600s, FIRST fled to England, where they met William
Penn, who ULTIMATELY brought them to Pennsylvania in 1682. I descend from that long line of
German witches stretching back thousands of years.
